If your professional or government service provider is paying for the interpreter, they must make the booking for you.
If your appointment is employment related, you may be eligible for funding through JobAccess. Contact JobAccess on 1800 464 800 or www.jobaccess.gov.au.
The Federal Government has a new way of paying for interpreting services. The new name is National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). Visit our NDIS page to find out more.
If you are not eligible for NDIS funding, the National Auslan Interpreter Booking & Payment Service (NABS) provides Free interpreters for private medical and health care appointments. Find out more about NABS services.
