Working With An Interpreter

Not everyone has worked with an Interpreter.  The video on this page will provide you with some helpful tips for when you are working with an interpreter.

Only accredited interpreters should be used.  Accredited interpreters are expected to adhere to a professional code of conduct and access regular professional development.

Accredited interpreters must remain impartial, confidential, professional and truthful.

Information communicated during an appointment where an accredited interpreter is present will remain confidential.
