Interpreter Payment Request Forms are no longer required. All completed jobs will be auto-paid.

QLD interpreters: For On Call jobs, the hard copy signed On Call Assignment Completion Sheet must continue to be emailed to pays@nabs.org.au

Once completed, please forward a copy of your Certificate of Completion to communications@nabs.org.au for noting.
From 17 September 2021, it will be mandatory for all residential care workers* to have received a minimum first dose of a COVID-19 vaccination to enter residential aged care facilities. Please send a copy of your immunisation history statement to communications@nabs.org.au You will need to carry this with you.
*this applies to all individuals who access, or are reasonably likely to access any residential aged care facilities to provide care, support or interpreting.

While it is not compulsory in all States and Territories to hold a Working with Children Check or equivalent, it is recommended that interpreters obtain one.
Please email communications@nabs.org.au to advise if you hold a current Working with Children Check. The relevant registration is required for assignments with persons under 18 years.
If you have transitioned to NAATI Certification, please provide NICSS your new ID number. Your file will be updated accordingly.
If you require a letter for re-certification/revalidation, NICSS can provide this on request. Please email communications@nabs.org.au
